The girl on the left is Whitney Port. I’ve watched these shows before, THE HILLS and then the spin-off THE CITY. You watch them and you can feel your brain switching off. The girl on the right is Lauren Conrad and I have interviewed her a few times…After each interview I wonder how she has made in the entertainment industry. I always thought you had to talk and be entertaining. So when I knew I would be talking to Whitney Port, Lauren’s friend, who has her own show, THE CITY, I thought this would be a struggle. She is a beautiful enough girl who probably needs to eat bigger servings. How would this interview go???

If you have been watching Im a Celebrity Get me out of here on NBC this week your brain has probably turned to mush. I watched the first two hours and I’ve been struggling to have a normal conversation with humans this week. The Spencer and Heidi show has confused me about pop culture as we know it.

One little fella who I thought would be a huge sideshow is Sanjaya Malakar. We first saw Sanjaya on American Idol and his charm, or lack of it, was that he was oblivious to the world. Back then American Idol voters were voting him through every week. Simon Cowell was confused that Sanjaya was loved while Cowell berated him each week for being a terrible singer.
