There is no better feeling than thinking a movie is going to be great and then you see it and it is better than great….this rarely happens to me anymore. Back in the 1990′s it happened all the time to me; Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Swingers. The last few years it’s happened for Inglorius Basterds and Gran Torino. I’m glad it happened when I saw Kickass. Full of great action and never a dull moment.

Nic Cage plays a real life superhero called Big Daddy, hell bent on revenge against a local crime boss played by Mark Strong. I first heard about this movie when Nic Cage moved to England to film it and he said that he was living his fantasy of being in a superhero comic book movie. Even if his superhero character had a fake moustache and daughter that could probably kick his own arse…..I mean ass.

Last year I interviewed Nic Cage for a movie called the KNOWING. A Nic Cage interview can go any way depending on how he is feeling. He had his wife with him and he seemed kind of happy on this New York red carpet. I’ve always been a fan of Cage and his personality and I hope you get an insight into the man with slowest delivery in Hollywood.
