Being a massive John Lennon fan it was a bit of a thrill to meet his boy Sean. Obviously my initial curiosity wasn’t about his ability to create music as well as his dad but more so, if he had what it takes with the ladies. As you will see in this interview the proof is well and truly in his little pudding. A very slender and lean supermodel type was hanging in the background. I was to later find out this is his girlfriend and a band member in Sean’s group, The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger. I don’t think it is actually a group but more a duo.

Other than his ability to attract a good looking girlfriend/muse/bandmate, Sean proved to be a funny dude in our short interlude.

I’ve also included my interview with Joseph Gordon-Lovitt below as it appears that he and Sean are great mates.

All in all John Lennon did well with his off spring here and Yoko raised a fine lad. Sean Lennon.

I was lucky enough to talk with Betty White a few weeks ago when she was being honored by the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. She has come a long way in the broadcasting business and I found out what set her on the road to stardom.

I was out at the red carpet the other night for Jonah Hill’s new movie The Sitter. This is a movie where a schlub of a fella has to look after 3 kids and then the madness ensues. The film is great fun and there are a lot of laughs. And it gets quite filthy.

The opening scene is very exciting and sees Jonah Hill at his best, with young actress Ari Graynor. I catch up with both of them to get their technique on this interesting love scene.

In honor of the awesome Pacquiao Marquez fight this Saturday night I feature my few moments with the boxing superstar, Manny Pacquiao. I was lucky enough…..well I think I was lucky, to see Manny sing the 1977 hit song Sometimes When We Touch with his musical idol Dan Hill. I chat to Dan Hill about his relationship with Manny and get a few words with the little Filipino dynamo.

The Ricky Gervais interview I recently did has been said to have some deep insights into the entertainment industry and internet videos! “You have every right to empty your drawers on the internet too” is one of those insights. An interview laced with F-bombs, a sizzling few C-crunchers and a direct hit about being fat. This yarn covered a lot of angles and was simply two blokes catching up for a chat.

Anna Kendrick jumped on to our screens in Twilight. Little did I know she used to be a Broadway star as a kid. She has since gone on to be nominated for an Oscar when she starred with George Clooney. In the movie 50/50 she has some wonderful moments with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. She was one very relaxed actress to yarn with.

Thomas Jane is a reasonably happy guy. He has a full time gig where he isn’t the star but his groin region is. Season 3 of Hung kicks off this weekend and Thomas Jane will be back in all his hooker glory.

We catch up and have an interesting chat about his new found fame in that area.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a very relaxed and happy fella. He does a great job in the movie 50/50 playing a young man who is struck down in his prime. A film that is a mix of drama and comedy, Gordon-Levitt nails it as a guy who’s world is tipped upside down.

This film stars Seth Rogen who brings the laughs as his buddy and the lovely Anna Kendrick who plays his therapist/romanticist…. is that a word?

In the movie 50/50 Seth Rogen does a good job as the funny sidekick in a drama that is driven by the actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Finding out he has cancer Gordon-Levitt’s character’s world falls a part but his spirits are lifted by the consistent ball gags and coaching to shag by Seth Rogen’s character.

I caught up with Seth on the red carpet and also chatted with the writer of the movie Will Reiser. The film is based on Will’s experiences when he got cancer.

I also chatted with the director of the movie Jonathan Levine. I used to stay with a mate of mine Swanno in LA when I would cover the Oscars. Levine used to live in the bungalow in the backyard. He was one focused dude writing a hell of a lot. This was a cool reunion….

It turns into a good evening when the ever reliably funny Bill Hader wanders past. Saturday night saw him kick off Saturday Night Live’s season with those famous words after he channeled Fox News stalwart Shepard Smith. Bill and I have a chat about playing Shepard and also why he has such lovely flowing hair at the moment. A very macho thing for two men to yarn about……I think I am going through the hair stage in my manhood……Like I wish I had f**kn more of it on my forehead.
